We are just 2 ladies (ok, wanna be rock
chicks) who have recently re-awoken our love for reading and books. Wendy
started this whole thing on a sun lounger a couple of years ago, reading book
1of a certain trilogy, only breaking away for sustenance, natural breaks and to
text her bestie that she really must read this book. There was a near crisis at
the end of book 1, when wi-fi wasn’t readily available to allow Wendy to move
straight on to book 2.
Well, that holiday and 3 books later (read
several times!) Wendy entered a world of books, authors, bloggers
and took Juanita with her.
Funnily enough, on a sun lounger on yet another
holiday, in between books, blogging, reviews, arcs etc, Wendy had an inspiring
idea. A few interesting tweets got her
thinking and voila, ScanTilly was born.
Ok, it didn’t have a name and may have
needed a little bit more work, but we kept coming back to the same question,
why not? If we are being honest, there were probably a thousands reasons why
not, but our enthusiasm and desire to support the indie authors who have
brought us so much reading pleasure was our drive.
A few steep technical learning curves later
and here is the fruit of our labour. We are only able to do this because of the
great work done by many talented writers. We are here to support you and take
your wonderful books to keen readers, who will appreciate your efforts.
